STEM Family Fun (SFF) is a 2Gen STEM group focused on project-based STEM challenges. Each child attends with an adult teammate, i.e. parent, grandparent, mentor, older sibling, etc. The adult team member is not optional. This group is for kids in grades 3-5. Teams in STEM Family Fun learn cardboard engineering, coding, and basic robotics.
The Spring semester of STEM Family Fun starts 2/25/26, and registration is currently open for quarter 4 which runs 4/1/26- 5/13/26. This quarter, the STEM teams tackle kite building. This is an old-school project which teaches lots of fundamental maker skills. Weekly meetings are 90 minutes long and include a short Bible lesson.
👉 To keep STEM Family Fun accessible, we use a Pay What You Want model. Each 6-week quarter costs about $50 per student in materials. We ask families to contribute at least $20 per quarter to help cover these costs. Those able to give more make it possible for others to join
